Land-Body: Full day Workshop

A full day to immerse yourself in deep listening with body and land in the company of others.
Letting go of agendas and the need for an outcome we will explore practices of embodied deep listening, noticing and responding to prompts from our own bodies and those of our more-than-human kin, whether that be buzzard, soil, tree, dragonfly, fungi….. moving towards greater reciprocity with all of life.
What happens when you slow down and wait for inspiration - words, movement, thoughts - to arise through embodied response to landscape and the other beings who inhabit a place, rather than from pre-conceived ideas. How does this bring forward different timing, different marks, movements, words, symbols.
In the morning we will be indoors in a village hall and the afternoon will be spent at a nearby outdoor site.
There will be an additional option to work with mugwort in the form of local mugwort tea. This will be explained on the day for those who are interested.
Designed for all levels of experience. For anyone who wants to explore creative process with land and body - nature-lovers, artists, writers, dancers, movers, poets, therapists, body-workers.
